Our History

Brubaker Inc. was founded in 1945 by I. Wayne Brubaker, and was originally in the plumbing, heating, and rainwater spouting business.

Founded right after the end of World War II in 1945, Brubaker Inc. has been a family-owned and operated home service and construction company providing clients with a wide variety of services for decades. When Wayne Brubaker originally established the company, he offered these services under the name of I. W. Brubaker Plumbing, Heating, and Spouting.

During the early 1950s America was undergoing a tremendous economic expansion. Consumers snapped up goods that hadn’t been available during the War. Invigorated by the marketplace, our Frigidaire and Delco appliance retail store was unveiled and it was an immediate success.

Since then the company has expanded its services to include home and business plumbing, HVAC and electrical services, design/build plumbing & HVAC construction, appliance sales & service as well as kitchen & bath remodeling.

In January of 2024 Don, Gerry and Dave Brubaker, the second generation owners went through the ESOP process and sold 100% of the company to the employees. Our group of employee-owners are excited to continue the legacy of services exceeding expections.
